Biography
Imam "The Destroyer" Khataev is an accomplished light heavyweight from the Republic of Chechnya, Russia. Imam was an outstanding amateur, competing in more than 300 bouts before turning professional.
He represented Russia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where he won a bronze medal in the light heavyweight division. He also earned major honours at the Russian National Championships and the IBA Men’s World Boxing Championships.
Known for his devastating knockout power, pressure fighting and relentless aggression, Khataev is regarded as one of the world’s top light heavyweight contenders and possesses all the attributes required to become a world champion.
Managed by Jim Kambosos and JKSM Agents, Khataev continues to build his professional career on the international stage as the current NABF Light Heavyweight Champion.
